When He rolls up His sleeves He ain't just puttin' on the Ritz (our God is an Awesome God) There is thunder in His footsteps And lightning in His fists (our God is an Awesome God) Well the Lord He wasn't jokin' when He kicked 'em out of Eden It wasn't for no reason that He shed His blood His return is very close and so you better be believin' That our God is an Awesome God REFRAIN Our God (our god) is an Awesome God He Reigns (he reigns) from heaven above With Wisdom (with wisdom)pow'r and love Our God is an Awesome God When the sky was starless in the void of the night (our god is an awesome god) He spoke into the darkness and created the light (our god is an awesome god) Judgement and wrath He poured out the Sodom Mercy and grace He gave us at the cross I hope that we have not too quickly forgotten that Our God is an Awesome God

Mark 11:23

For verily I say unto you, that whosoever shall say unto this mountain be thou removed and be thou cast into the sea, and shall not doubt it in his heart, but shall believe that those things for which he sayeth shall come to past, he shall have whatsoever he sayest.

BUILDING THE BRIDGE FOR HIM (or HER)
An old man, traveling a lone highway,
Came at the evening cold and gray.
To a chasm deep and wide.
The old man crossed in the twilight dim,
For the sullen stream held no fears for him,
But he turned when he reached to other side,
And builded a bridge to span the tide.
"Old man," cried a fellow pilgrim near,
"You are wasting your strength with building here;
Your journey will end with the ending day,
And you never again will pass this way.
"You have crossed the chasm deep and wide.
Why build you a bridge at eventide? "
And the builder raised his old gray head:
"Good friend, on the path I have come," he said,
"There followeth after me today
A youth whose feet will pass this way.
"This stream, which has been as naught to me,
To that fair-haired boy (OR girl) may a pitfall be;
He, too, must cross in the twilight dim __
Good friend, I am building this bridge for him (OR her)."
