My dad Robert William McGinnis this was taken I believe in late 70's

This is the house my brothers and I grew up in at Oak Harbor, Ohio. It was a beautiful home with four bedrooms big back yard, that was home...I will always remember. I love you Dad!

Dearest Dad and Mom, This was our home in Ohio and that was my life I knew and oh, how I love you so very much! That is where I learned about Jesus, went to church in Port Clinton, Ohio...had a beautiful room and yeah, I was daddy's girl but hey mom you took me to Toledo and did we ever have fun shopping, you sat by my bedside when I was sick with ice...you both got a kiss on the cheek before bedtime...we always had dinner together if at all possible...meat and potatoes...remember :) Toledo Zoo, Toledo Edison where dad you were a foreman...Nehls Grocery store, camping in Michigan, going to south Ohio to see the Amish country and camp...trips to Kentucky...school activities...and all those beuatiful dresses and shoes that only a daughter would want from dad...you would go get me 4 at a time...yes, I remember ... ah thank-you God for the memories! I LOVE YOU DAD AND I LOVE YOU MOM! IF WE DON'T MEET AGAIN ON EARTH I WILL MEET YOU ON THE OTHER SIDE IN GLORYLAND! (((((HUGS)))))

I love you Dad! You are my hero!

(WES IS GONE NOW DAD BUT HE CARE FOR

ME ENOUGH TO PRAY FOR YOU) PLEASE LOOK

AT HIS MEMORIAL...HE WAS SO KIND AND LOVING

IN CHRIST AND YOU WOULD HAVE LIKED HIM

AS HE WAS FROM WEST VIRGINIA, THANK THE

GOOD LORD I HAVE THIS TO REMEMBER HIM BY...)

Wes sent this in and well Dad Jesus is truly carrying you right now!

I am so glad your my dad and proud to be called your daughter!

I love you Dad!

This new version of the "footprints" story really caught me

off guard at the end...What a blessing JUST READ IT!
       FOOTPRINTS...A New Version
Imagine you and the Lord Jesus are walking down the road
together.  For much of the way, the Lord's footprints go along
steadily, consistently, rarely varying the pace..
But your footprints are a disorganized stream of zigzags, starts,
stops, turnarounds, circles, departures, and returns.
For much of the way, it seems to go like this, but gradually your
footprints come more in line with the Lord's, soon paralleling
His consistently.  You and Jesus are walking as true friends!
This seems perfect, but then an interesting thing happens:
Your footprints that once etched the sand next to Jesus'
are now walking precisely in His steps.
Inside His larger footprints are your smaller ones, you and
       Jesus are becoming one.
This goes on for many miles, but gradually you notice an-
other change.   The footprints inside the large footprints
seem to grow larger.  Eventually they disappear altogether.
There is only one set of footprints they have become one.
This goes on for a long time, but suddenly the second set
of footprints is back.  This time it seems even worse!
Zigzags all over the place.  Stops.  Starts.  Gashes in the
sand.  A variable mess of prints.
       You are amazed and shocked.
Your dream ends. Now you pray:
"Lord, I understand the first scene, with zigzags and fits.
I was a new Christian; I was just learning.  But You walked
on through the storm and helped me learn to walk with You."
"That is correct."   "And when the smaller footprints were
inside of Yours, I was actually learning to walk in Your steps,
following You very closely."
"Very good.. You have understood everything so far."
When the smaller footprints grew and filled in Yours, I
suppose that I was becoming like You in every way."
       "Precisely."
"So, Lord, was there a regression or something?  The foot-
prints separated, and this time it was worse than at first."
There is a pause as the Lord answers, with a smile in His
voice.  "You didn't know?  It was then that we danced!"
To everything there is a season, a time for every purpose
under heaven: A time to weep, a time to laugh,  A time to
mourn, and a time to dance.
       Ecclesiastes 3:1,4.
Funny how you can send a thousand 'jokes' through e-mail
and they spread like wildfire, but when you start sending
messages regarding the Lord, people think twice about
sharing.  Funny isn't it?  Are you laughing?  Are you thinking?
Spread the Word and give thanks to the Lord for He is good!
Funny isn't it, when you go to forward this message, how
many on your list are not receiving it because you're not sure
they believe in anything? ....Sad. It's not WHAT you have in
your life, but Whom you have in your life that
       counts.... Think about that.
       I ASKED GOD
       I asked for a flower,
       He gave me a garden.
       I asked for a tree,
       He gave me a forest.
       I asked for a river,
       He gave me an ocean.
       I asked for a friend,
       He gave me "YOU."
Send this to whomever you think of as
       a friend..... I did.

Pray and what dad means to me!

I sent this out on Thursday 10, 2005 to all prayer partners!

(I just had to write this, please allow me to share this dearest prayer

friends, the music says everything)

Dearest Friends,

I just want you know I am praising
the Lord no matter what may happen,
He has been so good to me through
everything and I am trusting the Lord
today, He knows everything dear friends.
My dad is in critical shape right now.
His name is Robert Mcginnis and from
Somerset, Ky. First, he was in a bad accident
in Louiville about year and half ago, sent
to a burn unit where he was standing by his big
ole truck he loved so much and drove
so many years over 20 years on the road
seeing state after state, compresser blew up,
a few months ago he had a stroke and
felt it was from it and didn't let himself heal
and went back to work so quickly cause
he loved working,  he retired finally
and dad & I have had the most
beautiful connection on the phone
from both places,...
has 9 or more blockages
to his heart...they did the heart cath.
He is my dad and I love him, I can't be
there cause of circumstances being in
fla. so I am praying for him...I say I love
you dad cause well, you are my dad that has
made me laugh, cry, (giggle) taught me
camping, church, love, strength, went on
so many trips together...made it possible
to get a good education, you gave me
what it took to go on through the years
in ways you never knew...
and I have learned alot
through the years, you are everything to
me dad...we are not alone, Jesus is here with us
all the way like this song says! Thank-you
Jesus cause I know you will be with our families.,
most of all you will be with my dad during this
major surgery on his heart. I know there
is a reason for all this, and sometimes
it is to bring families closer, sometimes
to help us think we are just a breathe away
from eternity, for whatever the reason
I  praise God today cause I am happy in Him,
I love Jesus so much and just want to do more
for the Lord than I did yesterday

...Thank-you dear friends
as I trust today for the help of our blessed Lord!
He will see us through no matter what ...He is
everything and just remember dad in your prayers
today, they will transfer him from Somerset to
Lexington today...I will keep you updated and will
be home today close to phones...love everyone...
and thank-you again for all your prayers, support,
and love in Christ.
Prayerfully your sister in Christ, robin

Dad you always like Jim Reeves so this was sent through an email...thought I would put it on to click...

UNDER CONSTRUCTION FOR MY DAD I LOVE YOU DAD....

David sent this in from Sing

Thanks For the update Robin
on your Dad.
There is great love there that you have for him and that  (as a Father myself ) is so powerful and just what he needs  for He already has the Lord in His Heart.
If a soul can be touched by what I have to give,
Then Lord let me give unconditionaly.

Lord Father we come to you in ernest for   Robin's Father   your child lord  we pray that you will touch him with Your healing hands and hold him in Your loving arms . Lord give him the strength he needs to come through this with no ill effects, and we ask for a speedy and total recovery. Hear our prayer Father .
as You taught us Lord "
Ask and you shall recieve"
Lord we are asking in Jesus most precious name
Amen And Amen
I f a heart can be healed
by the  feeble words I pray
Then let me pray unceasingly..
Love and Prayers Always, Robin
